Braces & Clear Aligners

Braces & Clear Aligners in Rajkot

Orthodontic treatment straightens crooked, crowded, protruding or gapped teeth using braces or clear aligners. At Vinayak Multispeciality Dental Clinic, Rajkot, we offer metal braces, tooth-coloured ceramic braces and removable clear aligners, with typical treatment running 12–24 months depending on the case.

When you may need braces & clear aligners

  • Crowded, overlapping or rotated teeth that are hard to clean.
  • Gaps between teeth, or front teeth that protrude.
  • An overbite, underbite or crossbite that affects chewing.
  • Adults who want correction without visible metal — aligners or ceramic braces.

How the treatment works at our clinic

  1. Records & treatment planPhotographs, X-rays and scans are taken and the tooth movement is planned.
  2. FittingBraces are bonded, or your aligner series is issued after a digital simulation.
  3. Monthly adjustmentsShort 15–20 minute reviews to progress the movement.
  4. RetainersOnce teeth are straight, retainers hold the result permanently.

Why have it done at Vinayak Multispeciality Dental Clinic

Every case begins with imaging and a written treatment plan that includes the cost, so you know what is happening and what it will total before treatment starts. Instruments are autoclaved and opened in front of you, and our team explains each step in Gujarati, Hindi or English — whichever you are most comfortable with.

The clinic is on Sadhu Vasvani Road near Patidar Chowk in Rajkot, a short drive from Kalawad Road, University Road and the Race Course area, with parking available on site.

Questions about braces & clear aligners

What is the difference between braces and clear aligners?

Braces are fixed to the teeth and work continuously; aligners are removable clear trays changed every one to two weeks. Aligners are near-invisible and easier to clean around, but only work if worn 20–22 hours a day. Complex bite corrections are usually faster with braces.

What age is right for braces?

The ideal window for children is 12–14 years, once most permanent teeth have erupted. However, there is no upper age limit — healthy teeth and gums matter more than age, and we treat adults regularly.

Do braces hurt?

There is mild soreness for two to three days after fitting and after each adjustment, similar to a bruise. It settles on its own and soft food for a couple of days is usually all that is needed.
