- Immediate temporisation, so you are not without a front tooth during healing.

Where cutting cost genuinely hurts
The uncomfortable part of implantology is that a failure is expensive and unpleasant. Removing a failed implant, grafting the defect it leaves, waiting for healing and placing a new one costs far more than the original, and takes the better part of a year.
The two places where economising causes most failures are inadequate planning — placing without a CBCT, so bone volume and nerve position are guessed — and unbranded fixtures whose components cannot be sourced later. Neither saving is visible on the day of surgery, which is exactly what makes them dangerous.

A bridge requires cutting down two healthy neighbouring teeth to serve as supports. If those teeth are pristine, that is a real biological cost that does not appear on any quotation. Where the neighbouring teeth already need crowns, a bridge becomes a much more sensible choice.
